Since first starting BdH way back in 2004 1 artists name has passed our lips the most out of all the breaks artists & that name is AQUASKY. Now it may be cos they are local lads that hail from sunny Bournemouth. It may be cos they are Breaks legends since the whole breaks scene started, both as DJ's & with their pioneering labels Passenger & 777. It may be cos they've come down to the night a few times to see whats we're about & have a bit of a party. It may be cos we've been meaning to book them for ages... So now we have!

Alongside them on the night will be the cast of BdH residents that always deliver the goods. In fact we were blown away but just how good all our ressies played at the Halloween ball. Everyone rocked it!

'After doing the rounds on limited CDR for a while, picking up support from Atomic Hooligan & Jay Cunning, both of whom played it on the Kiss breaks radio show, 'Fracture' is finally getting a full release on Portsmouth based, forward thinking electronic music label, Nitrous records. Also on the bill in a package that covers both breakbeats & 4/4 beats is a remix from HiJack who are rising stars in the jackin' scene & are hot property at the moment, having recently remixed the likes of The Body Snatchers, Blatta & Inesha & Lennie De Ice’s classic ‘We Are IE’.

'Fracture' is a ruff ‘n’ tuff dubstep inspired breaks number with a deep churning bassline & snappy beats a plenty. Topped of with original & distinctive vocals from Mc Manic of Freefall Collective & Max Sedgley fame, it's a tasty little bass bin burner that will get people shaking & skanking.

Hijack pick up the remix honors turning in a warping 4/4 mix that it somewhere between jackin’ house & techno. It grooves along with heavy kicks & deep, glithy bass. Then the signature HiJack cut up vocal twisting Manic’s vocal to take the whole thing in a totally different direction. ‘Straight outta that into this.’

Finishing off the package is 'Finga Fudge' which is a squelchy synth driven number that wobbles in all the right places & skips along with great organic drums.'
