why have the hardcore ravers got a fasination with lights

is it just me or has anybody else noticed that there are shit loads of happy hardcore tracks that have vocals about lights and also the ravers are obsessed with glowsticks and hi visibility and luminous clothes.

fans of hardcore are like moths they flap around obsessed with lights and get on your nerves. they have no purpose but to annoy lol

i do like a bit of hardcore every now and agin but not the lame uk shit. i still play some classics now and again, did a hardcore event where i live and opened my set with this, while hixxy or one of the other punk djs was in the main room playing shooting star or some over cheese laden crap. as soon as the they heard xtc the room was packed lol more wanted to listen to me than the big name they paid big wedge to ha ha.
