OVERLOAD @ THE FORT - THE 3rd BDAY - SUNDAY 24th AUGUST

We have all had some cracking events this year again but nothing will top the event we have planned for the 3rd Bday on SUNDAY 24th AUGUST . All of the DJs chosen are superb in their fields of music .

Headlining the CONTACT Bunker we have Mr Whitby , with GARBO from the award winning club STORM alongside our residents Myself , Nathan D & Lanslide , U4IC djs who have had many plays on radio 1 of late , Quality Hardcore DJ D-Lyte who has just returned from a tour in the USA . Our new resident Dan Thompson whos Trance sets have to be heard to be believed a runner up in vinyl meltdown in 2004 . Even more oldskool DJs and friends are joining us for this next event in the shape of TRIBAL MEDICINE , Mr RAVENOUS and Mr CHUMP from CHAOS fame , OMAHA , GLENN FORD and CJ who never fail to deliver and our Headliners for the GOODLOVE house arena - M-CLASS who are rocking the world over with their fresh sounds and many other Djs and nights that have stood the test of time , all in all the Djs we choose have 100's of years experience between them on what does and what doesnt so rest assured your in for a good event . And plenty of upfront and totally classic groundbreaking tunage .

We are going all out on everything and some , including performers , pyrotechnics / firework shows , decor , sound systems ( over 50'000 watts is being shipped out especally for this event ) so just like the old days this is one party this year not to be missed . It will also be filmed by a professional film company from the off . So expect lots of interviews and crazyness going on .

Thanks for all your support this year and last few yrs when the scene seems to become completely commercialised , many of you are still in full effect for well over 15 yrs or more and that has been awesome and some of the parties over the yrs have been in a league of there own . We always aim to keep our events as Underground as possible and from where it all began !!

Just a little heads up on a couple of re-unions that are happening soon as well :-

CONTACT REUNION we will be back soon also in full force for our 10th Bday at a new venue and we have some wicked line ups and party atmosphere to be shared together again we know a lot of you have been missing it !!!

THE STERNS REUNION is set to take place in November , if anyone remembers this place in a hotel on a hill in worthing knows it was one of the original pioneering clubs in the Uk at the very beginning of the 90's and nothing has ever matched it since . It closed it doors in 93' with the biggest road block party that bought the whole area to a grinding halt as 1000's of party go-ers flocked from all over the UK . More info will follow on this !!

THE ENZO's REUNION another pioneering club that ran for many yrs and closed its doors on NYE in 2002 is happening soon as well . I used to be a resident for 7 yrs there playing alongside many inspirational Djs such as Carl Cox , Colin Favor , Eat Static , Christan Smith , Nukleuz tours and loads more . The place had a very special atmosphere and was stuck out in the middle of no where like most of the best clubs over the yrs such as Sterns and The Manor

No not at the same place , but more will follow on that Dave . Some of the original crew and interdance floor studio members have sorted a new venue and a line up the oldskool would be proud of :)

But yeah i agree , the Fort has that long forgotten underground vibe silimar to Manor Enozs which is why i enjoy them so much.

Matt, you sure sterns shut down in 92/93??? used to be my regular haunt in my early days and i swear i wasnt at school when i went there... id go for 95 :P but looking forward to the reunion anyway

you should do a manor reunion too :) around the time enzos was kisking off was awesome before slinky muscled it shut :)

It definately shut down way before 95 thou , it became the mansion house for a few yrs but it was ever the same again . I used to play there so Im pretty sure on the dates . It will be wicked to see you all at all the reunions

But for now Overload is the party on everyones minds they have all been different class
