Godfathers of electro, Roman Fluegel and Joern Elling Wuttke came together as a production duo in the late ‘80’s. Whilst many of their current fans were still developing in the womb, Acid Jesus where developing in the studio, pushing out their unique sounds on various German labels including Sven Vath’s much-respected Harthouse. As the ‘90’s progressed, so did international festival stardom, with renown gigs at Tribal Gathering, Sonar, Time Warp & I Love Techno to name but a few. World wide success followed with hits “betty ford” and the all-time hysterical club classic “rocker”, along with remixes for prominent acts such as Primal Scream, Chicks on Speed, Octave One and Eric Prydz.
Following on, their recent album “why not” is a jackin synthesizer affair with rock ‘n’ roll rhythms that cut like a blowtorch – it’s raw, its dirty and it’s just barely restrained!
