Yep, Red n Lou made me smile, liked the mix too red - i dont know what happened on the vinyls mind, i dont understand them, but when the track kept looping, that was the deck right?.. but i will understand them shortly. It's Stu's perogative to educate me on the real thing so I can get more credit for using cdj's. (and vinyl looks cool too ha) ... there were so many people to socialise with, I forgot to dance most of the night!

It was a new genre of music for me as well... I was listening to it, and noticed certain things whilst u guys were mixing. It's all done differently to what I've learned/taught myself. Learn sumthin new everyday innit! But is definatley a style I want to learn!

Big up to the two mad-heads who were on after me, gents I'm sorry I only managed to catch a bit of your set, but I made sure to let you know what I thought of ze mix. I can see you'll generate a good hype when you play out!

Glad I got to see ma boyz mixing, always impressive. Helped me into this music and it was the first time I got to see Paul and Rui play, funky - uplifting - loverly. Stu, what can I say? Another style I've seen you play now.. and fairplay mush, you taught me a lot i didnt know about during the day! NICE WAN!

Twas gutted about the whole early finish... I wanted to see Peters mix.... especially after he put the most work in in the day! So peter mate, let me know of your next playout!

Mr Morris, yes! Didn't get a chance to talk to you matey, sorry about that... the longer the day went on, the less i made much sense really (so you didnt miss much) but I did have to ask who was playing, coz it was good dude, real good. Though as with most of the DJ's playing, I did watch some of the stuff you were doing and wanted to rewind a little or go and ask questions. But I didn't wana get in the way! ha.

Most other times during the day I missed a few sets... trying to drag the excuse makers out of their house by force, to come and support! No joy though. I only really caught Houser playing pendulum, but top man for trying sumthing new and I will definatley hold to my promise of watching you play proper next time.

I don't know about every1 else, but I was heartbroken to hear slow kareoke music flood the pub shortly after. Just about sums it up dunnit, we need more of these kind of events and more publicity... the last thing Bridgend needs is depressing music! ! !

Thanks once again for every one who turned up, BIG thanks to the guys (peter and stu) for letting me warm up and taste the flava, the feedback and critisism (which i appreciate, coz i've been mixing a whole 2 months!!!), the people, the strange halucinations, the burgers I struggled to swallow and the police, for bringing flashing lights to the event before dark!

(you know, i didnt have to use my duck to ward off annoying whistle blowers either! how good is that.... i think i did blow it at those two skats though)

MORE PLEASE! x ;-)

and as mighty as this post may be, I'd like everyone to know that on a final note, the two gents who were with me for my first set (Boris, the hype inducing camera addict and Gwil, the metal/rock fan who prefers his greens to his whites) were the only fuckers who made sure to be there to support me!!! As much as other people I have invited knew how much I wanted to get the first little stint and how much I wanted them to hear me play - these guys made it down even THOUGH they both had proir arrangements - with ladies.... which to me isn't more important than a rave/party... but I think I'm missing sum elements of blokiness... meh!
