Well guys, what a year for Dirty Blue..
We launched in July 06, teaming up with Bristol's longest running house night Empathy and put on (for those of you who missed it) what could only be described as a perfect launch!
We had around 400 people packed into the Arc bar, and by 10:30pm the club was rocking..
We have always believed in local Bristol talent, and the seven residents who joined the Dirty Blue team last year proved that!
With every resident focusing on a slightly different side of underground house, we always keep the music up-tempo, fresh and diverse.
We also believe that no matter how great your music policy, a top night out isn’t just about that..
Every month we order in free copies of our exclusive resident mix CD's to hand out, and from the decor, to the overall atmosphere of the night we aim to put on one great monthly night for you lot to go nuts at.
This month will be our first birthday, and what a way to go out, by joining forces with the Arc Bar, we celebrate their last ever night before closing down!
So Arc Bar is closing!!!!!!!!???
Well, I'm sure you've heard the rumors, and yes, certainly for the time being Arc Bar as you know it, is closing down..
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff and management at Arc for making us feel so welcome over the last year, and helping to put on so many awesome events.
Whatever the future hold for the venue, for the sake of decent underground venues in Bristol we all hope it’s a positive one..
So, with that said, we urge you to put you dancing shoes on one last time so together with the Arc bar we can make this a night to remember.
This event will be Arc bars last night open, so let’s really make it a great one!
From the music expect funky, min techno, jacking house, Dave (and abit of foghorn action as well) thrashing out his beloved breaks, Dirty, filthy electro and if that enough we have Bongosan on percussion, and Matt downstairs alongside the warm up sets on clarinet!
Dont forget guys.. this is also the Ashton Court Weekend, so if your looking for a great afterparty, this is the night..
