For this very special event we have tried to incorporate as many Brands and promoters from all over the UK and Hard Dance scene, different styles flavors and variations of the music to appeal to as many people as possible. The Main Arena will keep the Hard House/Trance theme that can be traditionally found at Nyce1 Unleashed Events.
Whilst arena 2 will take on the form of Hardstyle, and the harder edged side of the music we call Hard dance.
Tell us about Callum, his condition, and what people can do to help
Callum Kaye who is a 5-year-old boy from Swindon suffers from an aggressive childhood Cancer called Medulloblastoma at the base of his spine. He has had surgery on the NHS but they were only able to remove 80% of the tumor, despite six rounds of Chemotherapy and massive doses of radiation. British Doctors have said his tumor is spreading down his spine. The NHS can do no more for him.
Callums appeal has been set up to raise the money needed for his treatment in America. The deposit is £175k, but final treatment could cost £500,000k.
You can help by inviting people to the Nyce1 Unleashed Event @ Blue Mountain Club Bristol on Saturday 12th April. Anyone who cant attend can visit Callums website www.callumsappeal.co.uk and support him by buying raffle tickets. There is also a Facebook group called “Help a 5yr old Beat His Cancer” please join the group and Network as much as possible.

How did the Nyce1 crew come to hear about his plight? When did you come up with the idea of a benefit night? With a cause like this, this is a night for more than just hard dance fans isn't it?
Ironically I come across the appeal on Facebook, somebody invited me to the group to help a 5yr old beat his Cancer, I took a look at it and it gripped me. I Have 4 children myself from the ages of 6 months to 12 years old, and I thought we could do an extra event with all the proceeds going straight to the appeal. So I contacted Ian from the Callum Appeal and said I’d like to help in some way and he said sure! So since October last year I have been trying to put the event together, we had a few problems at the start as originally we were at Lakota, and with them at the time expecting to close in March 08 we had to find another venue, so our next choice to keep the event in Bristol was Blue Mountain, which is when we moved Venues.
Yes it is, anyone who wants to contribute to the callum appeal can do so, by either attending the event, making a donation direct to the appeal, purchasing tickets anything, we are hoping to be able to raise the profile of the appeal itself, there is a lot more that runs behind the scenes with this cause by Ian and his team.

These two girls are hot property Caz is a resident for Contagious, Tonk & Raindance and will be bringing her own Uniqueness of fun and driving Hard house to the event, And Helen is another one of the Nu Breed Djs who is breaking into the scene based in Basingstoke she is a future star to look out for, Both girls we will see more of at future Nyce1 Events.

GARY B VS SYNERGY

These two are already well known names and exports in the Hard Dance scene from Wales, Gary being the resident and Promoter of Hostile and Never stuck to one direction his Vocal lead, baseline heavy style always sets the crowd in the mood and wanting more. It wasn’t to long before Gary B stepped into the studio with 3 of the scenes biggest producers, Digital Kid, Frank Farrell and Tom Parr. His first tune Engineered by Frank Farrell was soon snapped up by NRG's biggest label, Flashpoint records and his second engineered by Digital Kid is looking set to be signed, and Synergy Wales latest edition to the Hard House Heroes! He is fast becoming well known within Wales & such areas playing Hard House, currently been promoted through Stomp Management & with a residency @ Submission & having played at some of the best hard dance nights such as Bionic & Audio Deprivation, he is certainly 1 up & coming DJ to keep an eye out for! Both will be banging out the beats that’ll keep you moving onto our next superstar!

Storms new and most exciting resident and Producer. Scott is one of the hottest producers breaking into the scene already resident for Storm, Viagra and is still the ripe old age of just 17!! Scott will be bringing full flavor entertainment STORM style!

Well if you didn’t know I (Nick) am Tuchet and Jamie who promotes the night with me is Worm, both with strong clubbing roots and being in the scene for over 10years we will be giving the clubbers just what they want, no nonsense euphoric hard house how it should be!!

Slinkys very own Princes and TIDY GIRL, Kym will be bringing a rubber duck to the party. Along with her very own style of Hard Trance, she will drop tunes that she has professionally crafted with her own fair hands!!

Is currently resident at V14GRA, one of Leeds' premier hard house nights. He has also graced the decks at some of the finest nights in the country - Summit vs New Religion, Global Gathering, Sundissential, Polysexual, Awsum, Nyce1, Contagious, Blessed, Encore to name but a few! For those that have seen him play, you'll know he likes to play a fun, happy and varied set to keep you on your toes!

The Main Arena will feature The Diablotraxx DJ Collective LIVE PA! Tipped by many to be the new LAB 4, these guys have been blowing the ravers out of the water on recent outings and with upcoming sets in Finland, Ibiza, Russia, Australia & the USA, these guys are one to watch.

The collective consists of Ajay, Rob O.T.T. And Above. They all bring a totally different style to table and with the 3 of them combined it’s total mayhem. The live PA features totally live productions from the DiabloTraxx record label, with Rob O.T.T. at the helm, Ajay instigating the huge riffs and baselines and Above on the decks & effects, it always leaves the crowd wanting more! After the Collective’s performance, Above will be giving away the deck he uses to scratch - a Technics SL1200 - for the Callum Appeal, so be front and centre from 3am for a total annihilation of the dance floor
SIMON QUDOS

Will be playing the penultimate set of the night, whipping the crowd up into a frenzy before Lisa Pin Up closes. He will be showcasing a number of his own productions, which will also include some of his newest tunes that will be getting their exclusive debut play on the night. From Simon we can expect to see his usual enthusiasm behind the decks as he spins his trademark style of hard, energetic and uplifting trance mixing a combination of unreleased, new and classic tunes taking us on a journey that will prepare us for the bounce of Lisa Pin Up.

Estee & Mogz-e have joined forces for 2007/08.

These 2 Dj’s have been hitting it to the top in the welsh Dj scene for the past 2 years playing at all number 1 events @ Bristol & Wales super clubs.

Estee & Mogz-e have played for some top events in the dance scene such as. Gatecrasher / Godskitchen / Time flies & Bionic. They are both resident Dj’s & promoters for Wales hard dance & house events. Trancefusion / Rude Awakening & Phunkt which is based in Newport south, the cotton club. All the events have been doing really well over the years introducing some good line-ups & wicked parties each month. After being announced on line ups with some of the worlds top Dj’s such as... Armin van buuran / Eddie Halliwell / Judge Jules / Lisa Lashes / Marco v / Scot Project + loads more, they have been going from strength to strength with there bookings for 2008.

Estee released her first tek trance track on traffic recordings called Jaded, collaborating with Dj & producer Steve Noxx (aka nusense) back in 2007, which rocked all the dance floors across Wales.

Estee & Mogz-e play tek trance, techno, house & electro
there sets are have been rocking the dance floors all over Wales & are now taking there DJing skills further a field taking bookings in barnsley, Worcester, Nottingham, Swindon, reading & Bristol.

Both Dj’s played international back in 2007 @ Ibiza & Germany & they will be focusing on more international bookings for 2008, so keep your eyes peeled for these welsh rising stars.

Glyn-C: is well know around the UK playing various different styles, currently been promoted by Stomp Management. Glyn has played at some of the best events so far this year including Xstatic vs Storm vs Sundissential & The DiabloTraxx Launch. Glyn has recently been signed to DiabloTraxx & also has residencies with DiabloTraxx & Serial Stompers & is soon to be playing in Ibiza in June 08. This DJ is definitely going places!

Tyronnster: is well known all over the UK playing Hardstyle, Hard Dance & Gabba. He also plays alongside DJ Caled as Infamous Duo. Tyronnster is promoted by several agencies including Stomp Management & has 5 residencies within the UK at ADT, Master Ravers, Hostile, Hard Population & Serial Stompers, so it goes without saying that this guy is 1 of best up & coming DJ's around!

How much are we hoping to raise for the appeal? What could it mean for Callum?
We were hoping to raise around the £8,000.00 mark with the event at our club, but due to Slinky being on the same night this may be reduced – although they are arranging collection at Syndicate on the night – and have advertised us as the after Party on there flyers etc, so thankyou for that!
But even if its £5,000.00 it all helps for callum to get the treatment he needs to help him beat the condition he has, with the updates from Ian at the Appeal, Callum is already making steady progress from the treatment he has been receiving in the USA already, so this will help him further and ensure he gets what he rightfully deserves – a better chance in life!
Regardless of how much is raised at the event, raising the appeals profile in this way and spreading the word of Callums Plight is just as important as hard cash.
How are things at Nyce1 generally? Any other parties you'd like to let us know about?
Things are going steady at Nyce1 HQ, we are still young and building on what we have achieved so far, which in the space of a year I think is something to be proud of, we have had some of the finest artist bought back to Bristol and when you compare us to the likes of a superclub like Syndicate I am happy with that!
From May onwards we go back to Being Bi-Monthly, as it’s been a hectic start to the year. May 10th will see the return of the “Big Bounce Night” and we have Cally Gage, Audio Hedz, Klubfiller, James Ellis, Nicky D, Strange Dave and Ourselves Residents Tuchet & Worm delivering pure Bouncy Hard House and fun times in the Main room, Whilst Your Hardcore room comes back with InEffect, Nightfire, Sc@r and residents Dyson & Chewy & Hectic. MC’s H2o, Horizon, Angel, Lloydy & Action so see you there!!
