>1. When and why did you decide to become involved in music..?

This happened rather gradually. experimenting with old synths and so on.
This led to first Lump ep released in early 2002.

>2. Who are your influences or favourite bands..?

I tend to listen all sorts of music. It has to have soul in it!!!

>3. Where did the title Lump come from and why..?

the name Lump was probably a bit of a joke really at first but then the name stuck.
It's not a glamorous name but it has some kind of melancholic humor attached to it
and I like it. Sometimes someone recognizes me in a club and says: 'Hey Lump!'
It's a humble feeling :-)

>4. What is your favourite track of all time..?

This must be a trick question.!?! So many fantastic songs in this world but
let's say Herb Albert's version of Carmen is one hell of a tune!!!

>5. Do you feel where you live has a unique energy or sound that you've tried to
capture in your music.?

Surely London and it's many clubs and vibrant night life tends to leave it's mark.

>6. What do you like about your Music, in particular..?

I guess Lump songs can surprise you even after many listening times. Little details
that might have been missed before...

>7. If you had to choose a career outside your current profession what would it be..?

Artist of some kind for sure!

>8. Where do you see yourself in the next 10 years..?

Next 5 to 10 years are going to be CRAZY times. Major global events are going
to slap everyone in the face! So it seems. New World Order? Let's hope not!
Not sure where I fit myself in all that but it's a possibility that in 10 years time
I will be floating in a non-physical reality.

>9. What has been your most favorite gig to date..?

Must be at Fabric couple years ago. rocking night!

>10. This isn't your first visit to Bristol is it, What can Loco / Bristol expect
from you musically this time around..?

Expect some deep dub infused rhythms for the dance floor!!!
