Run @ Native is rapidly becoming a succesful night representing drum and bass for locals and students alike. The night started well and pretty soon it reached its capacity. Good vibes were on the cards.
The residents got the dance floor literally rolling. Distorted Minds dropped some heavy knee jerkers tearing up what was left of the floor.
MC Jakes, among others, drew a brilliant equilibrium between vinyl and ravers - even security couldn't resist a boogie!
The 'GodFather', Mr Groove Rider, kicked off with with a meaty Adam F - esque intro, leading into a Jamie Oliver like blend of jungle and b lines. My highpoint of the night? at some point somebody dropped Bad Company's 'Torpedo'.
Happy Days.
A good ol fashioned drum and bass night in a nice little venue.
No straws. No umbrellas. Not even a slice of lime.
Un adulterated, straight up - D n B.

Glad you like it!

The security -known as MC Bernie loves it... he is as much a part of the night as the djs and MC Jakes now... he dances as much as he guards the door, he is our mascot and when it gets too much he has to jump on the mic and how the love....

CHeck out next months line ups now online...
