after reading about on here, me and few my mates fort be place to be it was rip off head candy got it well wrong. their wont be a next time for me in soho.

Hed Kandi doing ever so well since leaving the academy then, what did i say...

its all about the money...

hmmm all about the money...? then wouldn't it have made more sense to have done a BIGGER venue where you can get MORE people in and make MORE money on the door...?

or is maths just not worth doing these days...?

well whatever your doing its quite clearly working from all the great feedback that your getting from these great events. Congratulations!

At £30 a ticket, and trying to sell 350 tickets for a 200 capacity venue? Yeah, i'd say it was all about the money.

And as for making more sense to do a bigger venue? Well, i think you'll find that having tried every credible large venue in the city, and some fucking shit ones too, this was the only place left for HK to go.

Granted, i'm no mathematician, but i'm pretty sure that had a bigger venue been on offer, the good people at HK would have held it there instead.



... and probably still charged £30 for a ticket :D

We have been running the Hed Kandi events for 2 years in Bristol and we are the people who have put the time and money into the hugely successful events at the Academy, Syndicate and now Soho.

Obviously every venue has its good and weaker points, but we always do what we feel is best for the party.

We know we can't please everyone, but by the good responses and emails we have received, and the ongoing great feedback from the promotion, we are very excited about the future Hed Kandi events in Bristol.

there are other medioum for feedback asides DSI u know - and the kandi bristol DSI group is plagued with a massive agenda and attitude since Kandi left the Academy.
the Kandi / MOS / sell out bla bla bla arguement is dried out - boring and pointless now - people love their kandi or they wouldn't keep going - if they don't - move on!

Mr benn stop stiring things dude, we all enter clubbing politics now and again but u'r clearly arguing one sided, im like you i dont like hed-kandi but i dont feel the need to diss them at every oppurtunity, u clearly have an alliance against hed-kandi leaving the acadmey and its's defo one sided, have ur say and leave it.
