Hello fellow Ravers!

Slinky was the Event, The Syndicate Bristol was the venue, Yoji was the God....

Before Yoji could land from the heavens, his followers required the breathe of life to awaken them from the bender of yesternight..considering how this is a bank holiday weekend!
Residents Dan and Joel took to the rather empty stage to give a great warm up. My only slight concern was that 1.5 hours was not long enough to warm up the crowd ready for the smooth transition to Yoji, however one should note that Yoji had another set later that night down in plymouth and therefore had to arrive at 11:30!!

Anyway track selection from Dan (from the last 20mins of what i heard) was solid, and Joel brought some energising electro trance and uplifting trance towards the end...'Sirens of the Sea' for me was a great track to finish his set with given my love for uplifting trance.
However Yoji was out of this world, unfortunatley i felt he was a big fish in a small pond, with a few small fishes inside (at the start). An 11:30 set start was too early for the likes of Yoji (a massive DJ, although some had never heard of him!!!) because the dance floor was still filling, it wasnt untill 12:15 that the crowd really started to pick up and give back what Yoji offered. Despite the smaller numbers, the crowd got some banging tunage.........

If you were there I was the crazy guy dancing my ass off on the raised dance floor!!! I felt so much engergy from the tracks Yoji played...I just had to dance myself silly.
Tracks that come to mind that went down well with the crowd were a remix of Daft Punk's Harder Faster and Darude -Sand Storm and well as a classical (not classic) track ,maybe from 4seasons?. I was also pleased that Yoji's new track 'Techy Techy' was played..an incredible track that works the speakers to the max!

Whilst taking photos I got to meet some really cool peeps who were definately hardcore! :) Due to me being mezmorised by Yoji's presence I didnt take a huge amount of photos, but the ones I took i feel i caputured the essence of what was there..(i hope).

As I forgot my ear plugs, my ears could not handle the whole night, so i decided to leave once Yogi left, which was a shame because I wanted to see Aly and Fila later but i would never hear again if i had! When trying to take pictures of Yoji once he had finished, I was a dissapointed in the individual who decided to stand right infront of Yoji while a group pic was taken, that seemed to piss him off and I dont blame him...which meant nobody else could have a pic with him after...However i managed to find out a way of getting a pic while nobody else is around (SEE THE LAST PIC OF MY GALLERY)...which topped of a great night for me..a great DJ and a great night...my muscles wont thank me for it for the next few days!!!

Agreed....was a bit quiet which was dissapointing.....think most people get paid next week and are saving themselves for Armin!!

Yeah that would be sweet..*feels like a little kid in a candy shop :P* I am soo loooking forward to saturday it is going to be banging!!! Im gunna be in the bay horse (if thats the name of the pub) to have a few drinks with Jordan before, i guess you will be there to?
