Hello lovely ladies,
In advance of you all rocking the Planet Amazon room at Hard House Heaven we thought it’d be fun to get some girl on girl action on the go in the form of quick fire questions in keeping with the Space Age theme!

Sue: You're playing in the all female Planet Amazon room at Hard House Heaven, are you into your girl power?

April: Sure, as long as it’s not of the Spice Girls variety!

Nathalie: Totally! I think in terms of DJing us girlies can be as technically able as many male DJs out there and put on as much of a great show! I used to love watching girl DJs such as Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage and Charlotte Birch for instance...and dreamed that one day I would be up on stage playing to crowds as big as they played to! Its great to see more female DJs coming through onto the hard house scene...always nice to see some gorgeous ladies doing their stuff behind the decks!

Mini-Minx: I’m not really into girl power, I think that everyone should be equal, and people who know me will agree.

K8-e: Well I'm from the Spice Girls era and very much an independent woman so I'd have to say yes! I wouldn't go as far as saying I'm a feminist or anything but I definitely believe the girls can give the boys a run for their money in most areas.

Helen: But of course! I think it’s brilliant that Hard House Heaven has got an all-girl room this time round. There are more and more female DJs coming on the scene, which I think is really exciting!

Nicky: yeah I'd say I was pretty much into girl power when I'm DJing and selecting tunes for the crowd its a case of 'tell me what you want what you really really want' ha ha! No seriously though I think girls are strong and proving we have what it takes just as much as anyone else

Caz: Girls rule! It's great to see us taking over a whole room and showing the boys hows it's done! GO GIRLIES!

Donna: Girl power all the way!!

Sue: Amazons supposedly wore lots of leather and had big weapons (ooh err!) What space age costume will you be wearing?

April: Something short and made of star dust, teamed with a pair of very high heels that I’m not so sure I will be able to walk in, haha.

Nathalie: Ooohhhh....now that would be telling! If all goes to plan I'll be wearing something that's not far off from leather...I just hope I get the right size or else I won't be doing much jumping around behind the decks or in the crowd!!! (",)

Mini-Minx: Lol I would like it if people stayed to see me play, if I wore leather and stuff then I’d scare everyone off!

K8-e: I'm liking the sound of the leather and weapons! I actually have a red star trek mini-dress (like from the first series) that Ann Summers were doing last year. Space was the theme for one of our work get togethers and there were quite a few of us in this particular dress which was funny. I'm really not sure whether I'm ready to get into it again though, we shall see. Perhaps something silver - I like shiny!

Helen: You’ll have to wait and see until the night I’m afraid but I’m sure I will come up with something sparkly…and not just my smile!!

Nicky: Well I'm game for being a female warrior and going to war! but I wont be wearing any leather thats for sure, but I will be following the space theme, and as for weapons...I dont need them I have 'girl power' remember

Caz: Ooooh I do love a good theme and the space age one is a fab one! I shall be donning a silvery shiney futuristic Contagious outfit for the occasion!!

Donna: You will have to wait and see!!!

Sue: What is your idea of heaven?

April: Mixing and chocolate

Nathalie: Hmmmmm......my idea of heaven would be spending time with all my friends, having a lovely meal, lots of drinks and a really good laugh!

Mini-Minx: My idea of heaven is sitting on a beach with my boyfriend drinking cocktails and just having fun.

K8-e: This is a tough one. Right now heaven is being with my lovely boyfriend - cheesy I know! Add some good hard house to the mix, some of my favourite foods and well what more could a girl really ask for?!

Helen: Am I supposed to keep this clean?! He he! Let me have a think…my idea of Heaven is…playing in a gorgeous club with thousands of clubbers dancing their hearts out and loving the music as much as me. I feed off the reaction of the crowd and that’s what it’s all about: everyone having a good time, dancing to fun, euphoric hard dance!

Nicky: Ok heaven to me playing to a lively crowd in a big club, dropping in my fave track and feeling the hairs stand up on the back of my neck ............other than that being on desert island with cocktails and my hubby

Caz: I am on holiday at the moment so I have to say that sun, sea and cocktails is heaven for me!!! Pure bliss!

Donna: A perfect place where all good things happen

Sue: Complete this sentence in no more than 10 words. Girls are better than boys because...

April: Because we can get away with anything!

Nathalie: we have breasts and can play with them whenever!

Mini-Minx: Most girls can do more than one thing at once...

K8-e: We like to "zigazig ha". :)

Helen: …they’re made of sugar and spice and all things nice!

Nicky: Come to the Amazon room and you will see why

Caz: We look pretty, dress nicely and are always right!! ;-)

Sue: Which other DJ are you looking forward to seeing on May 4th?

April: Greg Brookman, without a doubt!

Nathalie: I can't wait to catch Cally Gage headlining Planet Hard House...always puts in 100% and plays some of the most amazing tracks, especially ones that are unreleased that I could only dream of owning! Also have to see the Pasch-meister, Lee Pasch....soooooo good to see him playing a Frantic event! Also, Scott Fo-shaw...he's so amazingly talented, his tunes are unique and he puts on a great show behind the decks...he should actually be diagnosed insane! LOL! And finally, all my fellow ladies in Planet Amazon...amazing new talent in this room and a nice variety of styles, so I'll be sure to catch a glimpse of all of them at some point!

Mini-Minx: Andy Farley and also at the after party Pickup and Rise of course.

K8-e: The line up in the amazon room is hot hot hot! Really looking forward to seeing quite a few of the girlies. I'm also looking forward to the return of Greg Brookman. Greg's tunes have always just blown me away - Panzan being one of my long time favourites. Plus he's a little tinker and there's never a dull moment with Greg around!

Helen: Do I have to choose 1 DJ? There are so many DJs, both established and ‘up and coming’, that I want to see; I feel spoilt for choice! I’m looking forward to seeing the other girlies play in the Planet Amazon room as well as the lovely Cally Gage in the main room. I am actually going to see a boy (those smelly creatures! Hehe!) in the form of Alf Bamford aka Technikal as he is a legend and one of the most talented producers I know, having very recently made my first tune, Don’t Stop, with him…if you are there for my set (11-12) then you will hear it!

Nicky: K90, I just hope he doesn't clash with me
Caz: Rob Tissera!! He is still as good these days as he was when I first got into clubbing!! Cally Gage and Scott Fo Shaw I am also hoping to catch, both are rocking at the moment too!

Donna: Will be checking out all DJ's, spread the love
