HI NICK
Thanks for taking the time out to meet us and do this quick interview.....
1) We like the RPM crowd to know each of our guests, please tell us a bit more about yourself........
I'm one half of Bodyrox. Previously resident at Ministry of Sound
London for Saturday Sessions and Fabric for DTPM amongst others. Check
out www.myspace.com/djnickbridges for more info.
2) Bodyrox what was the inspiration behind the now infamous name.
'Yeah Yeah' was originally called 'Bodyrox' and when we put a vocal on
it we decided 'Yeah Yeah' was a better name. Jon and I are shit at
thinking up names so we thought we'd call ourselves Bodyrox instead?!
3) Have you ever played @ KOKO before - and what do you make of the unique venue?
No, this will be my first time. I've heard good things so don't let me
down!!
4) People still talk about your Ivor Novello winning track 'yeah yeah' - and earlier this year you hit us hard again with 'what planet are you from' - what other gems do you have winging the publics way in the next few months?
We have a new single coming out this summer - We have decided on the
title yet because we cant think of a name? At the moment, the working
title is 'Brave New World'.
5) We brought some gems back from Miami last year, but couldn't fit it into our 2008 schedule. What song/s really did it for you this year that we may have missed out on.

Funkagenda has just done a mix of Daft Punk's 'Around The World' which
was one of the biggest tracks of the WMC this year. They are trying to
get clearance on it at the moment.
6) Who has broken onto the scene this year and in your opinion is around to stay?
Daley Padley is producing some great stuff at the moment. Look out for
him in the near future.
7) There's a lot of noise that this year will be the best ever in Ibiza with a lot of brands refreshing their formula with the venues. Are you planning to spend much time in clubbers paradise this year?
Yeah, I'm there for MN2S @ El Divino, Pukka Up @ Es Paradis and with
Tiesto @ Privilege throughout June and July before i fly to Australia
to tour for the whole of August.
8) Festivals, super venues (KOKO), or small intimate gigs??
Both have their good points. Global Gathering last year was amazing
but small intimate venues can have an equally great atmosphere. it's
all about the crowd.
9) 3 best clubs you have played around the globe? (and can we have the promoters names please)
Macumba in Madrid, Red Light in Paris, Home in Sydney, Fabric in
London, Zouk in Singapore to name a few...
Finally
10 ) You have a really busy weekend next Bank Holiday. From Sankeys in Manchester, through to Global Gathering then you finally land with us @ KOKO on Sunday 25th May. Will we need to hold you up during your set with us?
I think i'm playing at five or six parties that weekend. We're
intending to push though without sleep so i might need some Redbull?
Nick thanks for your time and we cannot wait to have you down to our party @ Koko on Sunday May 25th. It's looking like a sell-out - which means one thing - we are all going to have one hell of a time.
Sweet!!!!!!!!!!
