A new dawn, quite literally, for clubbers in Southampton today as Junk was granted a 4am license. Junk is now the first club to fully operate into the early hours on a weekly basis putting itself and Southampton on the map as a clubbing destination.

The club has always strived to bring you the best DJ’s and artists and has been open until 4am and later on one off occasions, over the past two years, but now there are no boundaries.

With Junk growing as a clubbers destination it seems that this later license will only boost the clubs ability to grow and grow and who knows what will be next perhaps a third floor? Or a second room?

The changes will now see that Fridays will be open until 3.30am and Saturdays will be open until 4am. This also means that on week nights the bar will now shut at 2.50am allowing longer drinking hours inside the venue.

The celebrations start this Friday with Pukka Up featuring Dermot C + Electro Avenue in the Box and this Saturday with an Illicit Audio resident’s party.
