Founded in 1997, Frantic are dedicated to the raw, exciting underground sounds of Hard House. They love the music as much as life itself! It’s with this ethos in mind that they approach their parties and construct their DJ line-ups, combining established Hard House legends with the hottest new talent around. To complete the experience they seek out the most upfront, cutting-edge sound and lighting technology, ensuring unforgettable, mind-blowing, next generation clubbing experiences! They play only the most exciting hard, fast music – covering everything from driving UK Hard Trance to boshing European Hardstyle, to classic Bounce and full-on Filth, and all inbetween.

Over the years, Technikal has picked up runner up places in best producer and best remixer categories in the 2006, 2007 and the 2008 Hard Dance Awards. He's also picked up best producer of the year two years in a row in the HarderFaster.net awards. Its unheard of for someone so young to conquer a dance music scene in such a short time, but Technikals production prowess is too mighty for the outcome to be anything less than this. Now fully in his stride, this young prodigy sets the pace for the Hard Dance scene.

Matt had been DJing for several years before he made his real breakthrough in 2005. After sending Will Paterson (promoter of Frantic) a demo of tough, pacey filth, Matt soon found himself receiving bookings with the hard dance giant. His first set for them in February 2005 at the 4500 capacity Hard House Academy saw him take the legendary Foyer to pieces and leave a long-standing mark on the London hard dance scene. Since this he has received regular bookings with the ever popular London night. Sets across the country soon followed, with the likes of GoodGreef and Cyberkitten soon snapping him up, with Tasty and Sundissential both securing his services later on. He is a resident at the ever-popular Bradford-based Parlez-Vous alongside Andy Whitby, Shan and Ben Stevens, Digital Love, Manchester, Summit London and is a regular guest at the up and coming night Cyberkitten in Northampton, His boundless enthusiasm behind the decks has made him a firm favourite amongst harder crowds and he can always be relied on to absolutely destroy a dancefloor with his super-tough energetic sound as well as his Nu Wave Hard Untidy sound too.

The big break came for Andy after a mention from Andy Whitby prompted Will Paterson from Frantic to ask for a CD. Will gave Andy regular gigs at Frantic, giving him an unrivalled chance to break into the London scene.
Since then Andy has been given residencies with Frantic, Cyberkitten and a regular slot at legendary Birmingham after-party Shine. He has also played at many of the big name events across the country – Tasty, Raindance, Twist, Polysexual, Heat and Storm.

In 2007 Andy formed a notorious b2b partnership close friend Matt Pickup (now known as Pickup & Rise). They also set up their labels ''Hard Up Digital" and “Hard Up Funk” to showcase the next generation of producers. His productions also made waves with several tracks being signed to Breed Digital & Beetabix, and “First Class Approval”, his recent release on Test Lab Recordings, claiming the number 1 spot on the Banging Tunes chart!
So far in 2008 Andy has achieved 2 of his biggest goals in the same week – playing main room at Tidy Weekender 14 and being signed to UDJs. With him also playing main room at Ministry of Sound, being booked to play at Frantic’s 11th birthday and mixing part of the new Frantic Residents Album alongside Matt Pickup, this year looks set to bring even bigger and better things for Andy.
